United Imaging and West China Hospital of Sichuan University Unveil High-End Medical Imaging Technology Demo and Training Center for “One Belt, One Road” Initiative

United Imaging and West China Hospital of Sichuan University (WCH) at Chengdu unveiled their high-end medical imaging technology demo and training center for the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. Healthcare professionals from initiative member countries, including South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, and South Africa, were present to celebrate this important moment, and they will be the first trainees.

The center will combine United Imaging’s strength in technical and product innovation with West China Hospital’s clinical expertise and resources to provide training on various subjects, including operation, diagnosis, and quality control. Medical imaging professionals from “One Belt, One Road” initiative member countries will benefit from training that includes high-end medical imaging technologies and experiences.

At the new center, we will customize training courses to the varied clinical requirements and pain points of ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative member countries, in order to improve the theoretical and clinical capabilities of high-end medical imaging professionals.”

The first “One Belt, One Road” training session started in Chengdu, with healthcare professionals from member countries learning from a joint team of West China Hospital clinical experts and United Imaging MRI application experts on 18 subjects covering clinical applications of MRI. This systematic training aims to combine imaging technologies with diagnostic imaging in solving everyday problems of member countries and providing customized improvement plans for their varied clinical needs.
